Associate Electrical Engineer I

What you'll do

• Determine design approaches and parameters while analyzing feasibility within time and cost constraints.
• Utilize modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data and conduct experimental tests.
• Select components and equipment based on detailed analysis of specifications and reliability.
• Perform simulations and present technical design reviews to peer engineers.
• Write scripts to control synthesis and build tools for hardware development.
• Design, analyze, and test FPGA, programmable hardware, and complex circuit card assemblies.
• Conduct RF/microwave device testing including s-parameter and modulated signal measurements.
• Develop and modify tests to verify the operational state and requirements compliance of hardware products.

What we're looking for

• Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Applicants may have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months.
• Knowledge of VHDL, HFSS, MATLAB, Python, and various communication systems is preferred.
• Experience with FPGA design, RF/Microwave testing, and optical engineering is preferred.
• Familiarity with Code V or Zemax software tools is preferred.
• Understanding of circuit analysis and operational concepts is preferred.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows computing environments is preferred.
