Electrical Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead multiple project teams of electrical hardware engineers and outsourced partners through all stages of product development.
• Conduct part qualification processes including quality plans, equipment inspections, and manufacturing process qualifications.
• Evaluate designs and project activities to ensure compliance with technical standards and improve product quality.
• Identify opportunities for optimizing product output, enhancing quality, and reducing costs of delivery.
• Develop cost estimates, business cases, and appropriation requests for electrical hardware engineering projects.
• Integrate new technologies and drive innovation within the electrical hardware design organization.
• Provide domain-specific expertise and leadership to cross-organization programs and activities.
• Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced staff members in electrical hardware design and development.

What we're looking for

• A four-year or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is required.
• Candidates should have 7 to 10 years of experience in electrical design, hardware architecture, or a related field.
• Experience in power optimization strategies, advanced power management, and power-thermal co-efficient is preferred.
• Proficiency in programming languages including C++ and Python is required.
• Expertise in hardware design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and FPGA systems is required.
• Skills in MATLAB, simulation tools, and debugging are necessary for the role.
• Knowledge of computer engineering, electronics, and physics is required.
• Ability to lead multiple project teams and provide mentorship to less experienced staff members.
