What you'll do

Supervise and direct operating engineers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of critical building systems.
Manage the preventative maintenance program by scheduling tasks, ordering parts, and maintaining inventory.
Oversee contracted maintenance work to ensure timely completion and fulfillment of equipment warranty obligations.
Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure including HVAC, electrical systems, fire/life safety, and emergency backup systems.
Provide hands-on training and technical instruction to staff regarding tools, safety procedures, and troubleshooting.
Coordinate with contractors to ensure they follow building protocols and are informed of critical functions.
Maintain accurate records of building rounds, engineering logs, data sheets, and inventory reports.
Ensure 100% uptime of systems by analyzing malfunctions and implementing corrective actions promptly.

What we're looking for

Must have hands-on experience in data centers or critical facilities including UPS systems, emergency generators, and switch-gear.
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
5+ years of related work experience, including supervisory experience.
Operating Engineers license (SMA) or equivalent.
Certification as a Universal Technician for CFCs within 90 days of employment.
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and climb ladders up to 30 feet.
Corrigo experience (preferred).
ServiceNow experience, EPA 608 certification, and NFPA70E training (preferred).
