As a Critical Environments Operating Engineer, you will join the team responsible for maintaining mission-critical data center infrastructure to ensure 100% uptime for vital digital operations. You will utilize tools such as MS Office, Google Suite, and Corrigo while navigating complex infrastructure involving plumbing, boilers, and industrial controls. What you'll do

Operate and maintain critical building systems including UPS, generators, cooling units, and power distribution infrastructure.
Monitor and adjust mechanical equipment such as boilers, pumps, valves, and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance.
Record equipment readings and analyze system operations to identify and correct malfunctions immediately.
Manage work orders through a CMMS and coordinate with vendors to resolve customer-facing tickets.
Follow emergency escalation procedures and respond to site emergencies to protect critical infrastructure.
Maintain safe storage of hazardous materials while ensuring the workplace complies with all safety standards.
Document technical activities and communicate system status clearly in both verbal and written formats.

What we're looking for

Must have 2+ years of hands-on experience in a data center or critical facility environment.
Must have demonstrated experience with mission-critical systems including UPS, emergency generators, switchgear, and power distribution.
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to document activities and communicate technical information.
Must have working knowledge of MS Office, Google Suite, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders up to 30 feet, work at heights, and navigate rooftops.
Must be available to work various shifts including holidays and respond to site emergencies.
Experience with Corrigo, Universal EPA 608 certification, or NFPA 70E training (preferred).
Background in industrial controls, BAS, energy management, vendor coordination, or relevant trade certifications (preferred).
