As a member of the WM Cloud Enablement Platform team, you will serve as an Asset & Wealth Management-Senior Cloud Engineer-Vice President-Dallas. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to research, architect, and build a cutting-edge platform that enables the safe and secure deployment of services in public cloud environments. Your daily responsibilities include managing the full software lifecycle, building connectivity products, migrating workloads, and developing infrastructure that integrates on-premises systems with public cloud providers. You will utilize AWS or OCI, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and AWS CodePipeline while leveraging Python, Bash, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node. The role requires expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, relational and NoSQL databases, and networking protocols like TCP/IP and DNS to solve complex challenges regarding cloud-native architecture, security compliance, and high-availability systems for the firm's wealth management division.

What you'll do

Build connectivity products and solutions to migrate workloads to public cloud environments.
Architect and deploy highly available, resilient, and secure multi-tiered cloud applications.
Develop services that integrate on-premises systems with public cloud providers and software libraries.
Manage the full software lifecycle including requirements, design, testing, development, and release.
Implement infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Automate configuration management and deployment processes using Ansible and CI/CD pipelines.
Promote best practices for public cloud application development and infrastructure management across the firm.
Provide ready-to-consume patterns to help internal engineering teams build and deploy applications safely.

What we're looking for

Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience with at least 5 years of familiarity with AWS services.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
Strong networking background including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and routing protocols.
Proficiency in relational and NoSQL database technologies.
Experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and configuration management tools like Ansible.
Experience with Javascript, Typescript, or Node.
AWS or any CSP certifications (preferred).
Deep knowledge of Cloud Native Networking, Hybrid/Multi-Cloud Strategy, and Solution Engineering practices (preferred).
Fluency in AWS CDK, TypeScript, NPM, and CloudFormation (preferred).
Understanding of microservices architecture, serverless computing, and performance tuning/cost optimization in AWS (preferred).
