Design, deploy, and maintain SingleStore, MongoDB, Sybase, and Cloud database environments for mission-critical applications.
Implement best practices for database administration, including backup, recovery, monitoring, and performance optimization.
Integrate identity and entitlement best practices into the database ecosystem with middleware engineering teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues to ensure high availability and reliability of systems.
Perform capacity planning and scalability assessments to support growing data volumes and user traffic.
Improve database release mechanisms and SDLC processes through automated integration, performance, and scale testing.
Develop and maintain robust testing suites to ensure safe and scalable solutions across business lines.
Research industry trends in SingleStore, MongoDB, and Cloud technologies to recommend innovative platform solutions.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and five years of relevant experience.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and three years of relevant experience.
Experience with relational and NoSQL database technologies including MySQL, SingleStore, DB2, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
Experience supporting and maintaining SingleStore database environments.
Experience with distributed systems and Big Data platforms, including Hadoop (HDFS and YARN) and related data processing frameworks.
Proficiency in Python and Unix shell scripting for automation, monitoring, and ETL workflows.
Experience with event-driven architecture technologies such as Kafka.
Experience with cloud infrastructure technologies such as AWS or Azure.
