Asset & Wealth Management - QA Automation Engineer - Associate joins the Asset & Wealth Management Engineering team to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for critical financial applications. This role involves building comprehensive automated test suites for functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing across UI, API, and database layers while integrating these tests into CI/CD pipelines. The candidate will collaborate with developers to ensure software quality and scalability in a regulated environment. Required skills include proficiency in object-oriented languages like Java, Python, or C#, along with experience using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, Pytest, NUnit, Postman, Rest Assured, and SoapUI. Preferred expertise includes JMeter, LoadRunner, SQL, cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, containerization via Docker or Kubernetes, and behavior-driven development frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
Architect, implement, and enhance scalable test automation frameworks using Java, Python, or C#.
Develop automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing across UI, API, and database layers.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to provide rapid feedback and accelerate release cycles.
Identify, document, and track software defects in coordination with development teams for timely resolution.
Execute performance, load, and stress tests to identify system bottlenecks and ensure application scalability.
Advocate for and implement QA best practices and quality gates throughout the software development lifecycle.
Research and evaluate new testing tools and methodologies to improve the efficiency of the QA process.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on test automation.
Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.
Extensive experience with test automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, Pytest, or NUnit.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and the SDLC in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Experience with performance testing tools (preferred); knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization (preferred); experience with database testing and SQL (preferred).
