What you'll do

Develop AI tools alongside developers to optimize control frameworks and identify risks early.
Co-sign all tool submissions before they are approved for deployment to colleagues.
Select cost-effective automation tools like UiPath or Python to prototype and scale automated controls.
Conduct scenario simulations and red-team exercises to establish best practices for AI tool deployment.
Coordinate the AI Controls Council and produce quarterly intelligence reports for senior leadership.
Translate complex technical AI behaviors into documented, actionable risk findings within a control framework.
Implement robust controls to safeguard business operations and meet regulatory requirements.
Produce executive-ready materials using Microsoft Office and Visio to communicate with senior stakeholders.

What we're looking for

Demonstrated expertise in risk or control management within financial services, focusing on compliance and operational risk mitigation, for at least seven years.
Technical AI fluency regarding how models work, including their assumptions, limitations, and failure modes.
Ability to translate complex technical AI behavior into documented, escalatable, and actionable risk findings.
Capability to implement robust controls to safeguard business operations and meet regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in process and data analysis to enhance control environments and interpret business trends.
Strong internal stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and business stakeholders.
Project management and operational excellence, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Visio.
Experience as a co-developer of AI/LLM tools or automation platforms (e.g., Python, UiPath), and relevant AI/cloud certifications (preferred).
