As a Control Management - Vice President, Program Manager – Innovation & AI Transformation within the Controls Room team, you will lead cross-functional transformation programs to modernize risk and control work. You will be responsible for redesigning workflows by embedding AI and automation to improve effectiveness, consistency, and transparency across various business areas. Your daily work involves diagnosing end-to-end processes, identifying root causes, and translating use cases into executable roadmaps with clear milestones and performance metrics. You will design solutions across people, process, operating model, data, and technology while managing governance from pilot to scale. The role requires expertise in AI and automation technologies, structured problem-solving, and change leadership. You will solve complex problems regarding risk management and control environment monitoring by providing actionable insights and automated reporting within a regulated financial services context.
Lead cross-functional transformation programs by embedding AI and automation into existing control management workflows.
Diagnose end-to-end processes to identify root causes, baseline performance, and define measurable key performance indicators.
Translate identified use cases into executable roadmaps with clear requirements, milestones, and success measures.
Design integrated solutions across people, process, operating model, data, and technology while balancing risk and cost.
Implement operating model changes that integrate AI into daily work, including roles, handoffs, and human review points.
Manage program governance by tracking dependencies, risks, issues, and providing executive-level status updates.
Drive decision-making and escalations to remove blockers and ensure project delivery meets quality standards.
Track and report on value realization by measuring performance against targets and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
What we're looking for
At least 7 years of experience delivering cross-functional transformation initiatives from discovery through implementation.
Strong command of current AI and automation technologies and a commitment to tracking emerging tools.
Ability to apply AI and automation to knowledge and workflow-heavy processes like triage, summarization, and quality monitoring.
Strong structured problem-solving skills including root-cause analysis, process mapping, and translating ambiguity into clear plans.
Experience defining outcomes, metrics, and key performance indicators using data to manage progress and impact.
Ability to design solutions across people, process, operating model, data, and technology while documenting requirements and trade-offs.
Strong stakeholder management, influencing skills, and governance discipline including risk management and executive reporting.
Experience in control, audit, compliance, or operational risk at a large financial institution (preferred); scaling AI from pilot to production (preferred).
