Senior Architecture Advisor

What you'll do

• Deliver and review System Architecture solutions for specific applications or application groups.
• Define subsystems, interfaces, and responsibilities within the continuous delivery pipeline.
• Provide hands-on technical mentoring to agile development teams to develop new capabilities.
• Contribute to and support application and enterprise architecture product roadmaps.
• Guide engineering teams in building applications that conform to established standards and technologies.
• Lead and facilitate sizing efforts to ensure end-to-end solutions meet business needs.
• Present logical design directions and technology recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
• Support performance volume stress testing for applications.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, IT Analyst, or related occupation.
• Experience implementing complex modules using Java/J2EE frameworks including Spring, Hibernate, and web services.
• Experience with Spring Integration and MQ to read and process data.
• Experience with TDD processes, writing Junit test cases, and writing Cucumber scenarios.
• Experience developing Restful services and using Maven scripts for building applications.
• Experience with relational database design, BRMS Drools Rule Engine, Struts, Servlets, JavaScript, Ajax, MVC, WebSphere, and Apache Tomcat.
• Experience deploying projects into multiple environments using Linux or Mac OS terminal.
