Architecture Senior Advisor

What you'll do

• Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models to modernize reporting and analytics applications.
• Review existing data models to recommend optimizations that meet specific business requirements.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert to design scalable and reusable architectures using AWS Redshift and PostgreSQL.
• Conduct programming and complex querying using SQL and Spark.
• Build and implement a data access layer in the data lake optimized for reporting needs.
• Mentor junior developers and analysts on query design and performance optimization best practices.
• Create technical specifications including mapping documents and functional data requirements.
• Develop and maintain distributed data pipelines and integration architectures in cloud and on-premises environments.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Experience with data profiling, data analysis, and creating data architecture frameworks and governance models.
• Experience creating logical and physical data models for operational and transactional systems.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL, and cloud technologies including AWS (Redshift).
• Proficiency in SQL, Spark, and Erwin.
• Experience maintaining ETL pipelines in Informatica and designing distributed data pipelines.
• Experience managing data in regulated healthcare environments.
