Applications Support Tech Lead Analyst Vice President

What you'll do

• Analyze existing system logic to identify problems and recommend technical solutions.
• Define systems scope and objectives for complex, high-impact application enhancements.
• Partner with technology teams and management to ensure seamless integration of functions.
• Document system impacts and support requirements in collaboration with Product Owners and Analysts.
• Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues while proposing mitigation options.
• Act as a technical advisor and coach to junior analysts while allocating work tasks.
• Influence strategic functional decisions through expert advice and persuasive communication.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations by managing and reporting control issues.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required; Master's degree preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in an Application Support role or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Unix and shell scripting for automation, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Working knowledge of Oracle databases, including writing and executing queries to investigate data issues.
• Practical experience with Autosys or a comparable job scheduling platform for managing batch workloads.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as ITRS Geneos, AppDynamics, ELK, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience managing incidents and service requests through platforms like ServiceNow or Jira.
• Familiarity with container/orchestration platforms (OpenShift, ECS), messaging technologies (IBM MQ, Tibco EMS), or Kafka (preferred); ITIL V3 Foundation certification (preferred).
