Applications Support Senior Analyst

What you'll do

• Provide technical and business support to resolve application issues and improve system stability.
• Maintain application systems and operating environments to meet service level expectations.
• Perform start-of-day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handovers for production systems.
• Conduct same-day risk reconciliations and develop technical support documentation.
• Assess production issue impacts and escalate risks to business and technology management.
• Define scope for complex application enhancements and manage application contingency planning.
• Participate in application releases including development, testing, and production deployment.
• Coach and train new recruits while acting as a subject matter expert for stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• 5-8 years of experience in an Application Support role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on technical support expertise in Java, WebSphere, TIBCO EMS, IBM MQ, and IBM Connect Direct.
• Experience with programming languages and the ability to learn new ones.
• Proven experience in Oracle, MongoDB, and PL/SQL, including writing complex SQL queries.
• Practical experience with OpenShift, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and UDeploy.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Kibana, Splunk, and AppDynamics.
• Strong communication, analytical, and incident-management skills for global, follow-the-sun support teams.
