Application Support

What you'll do

• Proactively detect, troubleshoot, and resolve issues affecting production applications while coordinating with development and external teams.
• Manage the stability and optimization of Wealth Management investment management application platforms.
• Lead outage incidents by coordinating cross-team responses and providing clear communication to affected parties.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and technical documentation to ensure high standards for production environments.
• Perform deep analytical triage, debugging, and root cause analysis to prevent recurring system issues.
• Manage infrastructure tasks including hardware capacity planning, event management, and support tool development.
• Act as a gatekeeper for the production environment by enforcing Change Implementation Management guidelines.
• Mentor and coach team members while maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base of troubleshooting steps.

What we're looking for

• Must have a BS/MS degree or equivalent, preferably in a quantitative discipline like Computer Science or Engineering.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience developing and/or supporting enterprise applications.
• 3–5 years of experience leading a small-to-medium team with similar skill sets.
• Proficiency in Python and hands-on scripting experience is required.
• Must have administrative competence in at least one major programming language or platform such as Java, Perl, PowerShell, or Unix.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, S3, Fargate, Aurora, and Lambda.
• Working knowledge of DevOps/SRE concepts and observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, and Kibana.
• Must be able to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to respond to emergencies.
