Application Support

What you'll do

• Proactively detect, troubleshoot, and resolve all issues affecting production applications.
• Maintain clear and timely communications with affected parties during system-wide outages.
• Ensure the stability and resiliency of the Wealth Management investment management application platforms.
• Develop and revise policies and procedures to ensure application development standards for production systems.
• Act as a gatekeeper for the production environment by enforcing Change Implementation Management guidelines.
• Provide subject matter expertise in debugging, issue analysis, and troubleshooting for technical colleagues.
• Produce guidance documentation, standards, and training materials for application and infrastructure support teams.
• Monitor system alerts and take corrective actions to minimize downtime and optimize performance.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience developing and/or supporting enterprise applications.
• 3–5 years of experience leading a small-to-medium team with similar skill sets.
• BS/MS degree (or equivalent), preferably in a quantitative discipline like Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Working knowledge of DevOps and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, and Kibana.
• Hands-on scripting experience with Python and working knowledge of Java.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, S3, Fargate, Aurora, and Lambda.
• Experience with on-call support and the ability to respond to emergencies on a 24/7 basis.
• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus (preferred).
