As an Analog ASIC Architect on the Touch Technology team, you will own the architecture of complex mixed-signal ASICs from concept through silicon to enable high-performance touch sensing experiences. The role requires expertise in AFE design, ADC/DAC topologies, noise analysis, and signal chain optimization. Candidates should be proficient in MATLAB or Python to perform modeling and simulation for high-volume, complex mixed-signal IC development.

What you'll do

  • Define and develop analog front-end (AFE) and mixed-signal ASIC architectures for high-performance touch sensing.
  • Author detailed micro-architecture specifications, performance analyses, and characterization plans for IC development.
  • Build high-level behavioral models to evaluate architectural trade-offs and validate system performance.
  • Lead cross-disciplinary trade-off assessments regarding power, performance, area, and manufacturability across process corners.
  • Contribute technical expertise to strategic roadmap planning and technology investment decisions.
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve silicon performance issues from bench characterization through mass production.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in analog and mixed-signal ASIC architecture, including AFE design, ADC/DAC topologies, and signal chain optimization.
  • Proven track record of defining and taping out high-volume, complex mixed-signal ICs from architecture through production.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or equivalent high-level modeling and simulation tools.
  • Experience with IC bring-up, silicon characterization, and system-level debug.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
