Aircraft Technician

What you'll do

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on aircraft airframe, engine, avionics, cabin, and communication systems.
• Conduct inspections of company-operated aircraft to ensure compliance with manufacturer, IBM, and FAA specifications.
• Maintain accurate records for aircraft maintenance, ground support equipment, and tooling in accordance with FAA regulations.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation to resolve system issues.
• Utilize specialized software to track maintenance activities and maintain required recordkeeping logs.
• Ensure all equipment and operations comply with OSHA, airport, and federal aviation safety standards.
• Obtain authorization to return aircraft to service following inspections and management approval.

What we're looking for

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience on comparable aircraft types is required.
• Aircraft Crew Chief experience is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights of 30+ feet is required.
• Bachelor's Degree.
