As a Senior Aviation Maintenance Engineer on the Test and Evaluation team, you will provide critical mechanical expertise for developmental flight test programs involving various products and business lines. Your daily responsibilities include performing flight test maintenance such as modification, instrumentation, and post-flight analysis; troubleshooting, rigging, and repairing aircraft subsystems; and conducting ground operations like launch, recovery, and engine run-ups. You will also manage site support equipment and validate electronic components using multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and test racks. The role requires proficiency in standard computer applications and a multi-capable approach to electronics troubleshooting. This position addresses the technical challenges of full system development testing, production acceptance, and sub-component qualification for advanced defense systems.

What you'll do

Perform flight test maintenance including modification, instrumentation, documentation, and post-flight analysis.
Maintain, troubleshoot, rig, and repair aircraft and various aircraft subsystems.
Execute ground operations such as launch, recovery, and ground engine run-ups.
Conduct standard preflight maintenance on fixed or rotary wing aircraft.
Develop procedures and maintain accurate aircraft and equipment documentation.
Troubleshoot and maintain site support equipment.
Validate and test electronic components using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers.
Communicate mechanical assessments and findings to engineering and manufacturing personnel.

What we're looking for

Must possess an active TS clearance with investigation within 5 years or continuous evaluation.
Must have 8 or more years of airframe and powerplant experience.
Ability to obtain an A&P license within one year of hire.
Preferred: Valid A&P license.
Preferred: 5 or more years of Test and Evaluation experience, including Flight Test.
Preferred: 5 or more years of Field Service Representative experience.
Must be multi-capable with skills in electronics troubleshooting and repair.
Must possess excellent communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
