As an Aviation Maintenance Engineer on the Maneuver Dominance team, you will ensure the airworthiness and mission readiness of developmental UAS platforms across assembly, maintenance, and flight test operations. The role requires a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant license and at least eight years of rotorcraft experience. You will solve technical challenges related to aircraft construction and site support equipment while ensuring compliance with civil and military approval frameworks for autonomous systems. Essential skills include electronics troubleshooting, problem-solving, and proficiency in standard word processing applications.

What you'll do

Perform aircraft assembly, planned maintenance, and mechanical integration of flight control surfaces and propulsion systems.
Troubleshoot and repair critical aircraft subsystems including landing gear, fuel systems, and flight controls.
Execute airframe construction techniques and composites fabrication for UAS platforms.
Validate and test electronic components using multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and test racks.
Maintain site support equipment and ensure proper FOD and tool control practices.
Document aircraft status, equipment maintenance, and mechanical assessments for engineering and production teams.
Ensure the airworthiness and mission readiness of developmental UAS platforms during flight test operations.

What we're looking for

Must have at least 8 years of rotorcraft experience.
Must possess a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
Must be able to perform electronics troubleshooting and repair.
Must be proficient in standard computer applications and web browsing.
Must be eligible for a U.S. security clearance.
Experience with both electric and turbine power plants is preferred.
Must possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Must have excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
