What you'll do

  • Lead large cross-functional projects to deliver search products and generative AI features using Large Language Models.
  • Create and manage complex project schedules with clear dependencies and critical path methodologies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks while proactively re-planning to meet aggressive delivery timelines.
  • Provide regular, objective program status updates and reports to the executive team.
  • Lead measurements for success including quality metrics, usage scale, and other key KPIs.
  • Collect and integrate early feedback from internal dogfooding to drive feature iterations.
  • Advocate for user experience and company values when resolving open questions or technical trade-offs.
  • Propose and implement new processes to improve team operations and delivery efficiency.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field and equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience driving large scale program building machine learning powered products.
  • Excellent program management skills including program structuring and managing multiple interdependent work streams.
  • Strong ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly and provide succinct status updates to all levels of audience.
  • Ability to manage project schedules with clear dependencies, critical paths, and systematic methodologies.
  • 8+ years experience in delivery search and generative answer quality improvements (preferred).
  • Experience orchestrating the delivery of multiple significant client/server software products requiring large organizations of 100+ across teams (preferred).
  • Solid knowledge of technical system architecture and systems design tradeoffs (preferred).
