What you'll do

  • Lead large cross-functional projects to improve search and world knowledge answering features using LLMs.
  • Create and manage project schedules with clear dependencies, critical paths, and systematic status reporting.
  • Identify and mitigate risks while proactively re-planning to keep teams on the critical path.
  • Provide regular, objective program status updates and reviews to the executive team.
  • Lead measurements for success including quality, usage scale, and other key performance indicators.
  • Collect and incorporate early feedback from internal dogfooding to drive feature iterations.
  • Advocate for user experience and company values when resolving open questions or technical trade-offs.
  • Propose and implement new processes to improve team operations and delivery of results.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or related field and equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in driving large scale programs building consumer facing software products.
  • Excellent program management skills including program structuring and managing multiple work streams interdependently.
  • Strong ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly and provide succinct project status updates to all levels of audience.
  • Demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities with a self-motivated and proactive approach.
  • 8+ years experience in delivery search and generative answer quality improvements (preferred).
  • Experience orchestrating the delivery of multiple significant client/server software products requiring large organizations of 100+ across teams (preferred).
  • Solid knowledge of technical system architecture and systems design tradeoffs (preferred).
