AI/ML Lead Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and implement production-grade multi-agent systems using leading frameworks like LangChain or OpenAI tool calling.
• Build agent workflows incorporating context retrieval, reasoning, tool execution, and compliance checks.
• Develop distributed services for agent execution with robust observability, monitoring, and fault handling.
• Create tools and data agents to ensure AI models are grounded in accurate financial data.
• Establish evaluation frameworks to mitigate hallucinations and ensure accuracy in multi-step reasoning.
• Implement memory management, state persistence, and context handling strategies for AI agents.
• Integrate AI agents and chatbots into client-facing platforms to surface portfolio insights.
• Optimize infrastructure for model serving, vector databases, caching, and cost efficiency.

What we're looking for

• Must have 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Must have 2+ years of experience building and deploying LLM, GenAI, or agent-based systems in production environments.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python is required.
• Experience implementing multi-step agent workflows using frameworks like LangChain or OpenAI function calling is required.
• Hands-on experience with vector databases, RAG architectures, and data grounding techniques is required.
• Experience building distributed services or microservices architectures is required.
• Experience implementing observability, monitoring, and fault-tolerant systems for high-availability applications is required.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
