What you'll do

Lead and develop a distributed team of vendor managers and crowd managers across multiple time zones.
Source, onboard, and manage global annotation vendors and crowdsourced networks to meet fluctuating data demands.
Negotiate high-value contracts and optimize price-per-task costs with major data labeling providers.
Establish and enforce comprehensive quality control pipelines to ensure high-quality machine learning training data.
Translate complex engineering requirements into actionable production plans for the global vendor workforce.
Manage budget allocation, financial forecasting, and ongoing vendor cost optimization.
Ensure strict compliance with global data privacy frameworks and secure handling protocols for sensitive datasets.
Prepare executive reports regarding production status, vendor health, and operational risk mitigation strategies.

What we're looking for

Bachelor of Science degree required.
10+ years of experience managing and developing teams in operational or vendor-facing roles.
5+ years of experience in program management, production operations, or vendor management in data operations.
Strong understanding of production operations including capacity planning, quality assurance frameworks, and delivery management.
Experience leading dispersed global teams across multiple time zones.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent programs with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and establish diligent processes for global teams.
