What you'll do

Lead and develop a distributed team of Vendor Managers and Crowd Managers across multiple time zones.
Source, onboard, and manage global annotation vendors and crowdsourced networks to meet fluctuating data demands.
Negotiate high-value contracts and manage budget allocation, financial forecasting, and cost optimization for data labeling.
Establish and enforce comprehensive quality control pipelines to ensure high-quality data at a massive scale.
Translate complex engineering requirements into actionable production plans and scalable workflows for the vendor workforce.
Monitor vendor performance against established SLAs, tracking metrics such as accuracy, alignment, and throughput.
Ensure all vendor operations comply with global data privacy frameworks and secure handling protocols.
Prepare executive reports on production status, vendor health, and operational risks for senior leadership.

What we're looking for

Bachelor of Science degree required.
10+ years of experience managing and developing teams in operational or vendor-facing roles.
5+ years of experience in program management, production operations, or vendor management in data operations.
Strong understanding of production operations including capacity planning, quality assurance frameworks, and delivery management.
Experience leading dispersed global teams across multiple time zones.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent programs with competing priorities in fast-paced environments.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and establish diligent processes for global teams.
