What you'll do

Write secure, high-quality code using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud concepts.
Design and develop scalable software solutions while considering upstream and downstream technical implications.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing.
Set up monitoring and reliability for infrastructure and models using Prometheus and Grafana.
Analyze large, diverse data sets to identify problems and support secure application development.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
Lead communities of practice to drive awareness and use of leading-edge technologies.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
8+ years of experience in full life cycle development and leading various levels of Software Engineers.
Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Strong hands-on coding in Java and Spring Boot with a good understanding of Spring Cloud concepts and AWS.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching engineers on responsible AI use.
Hands-on experience utilizing monitoring and tracing tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and Postman.
Exposure to agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
Proven expertise in architecting and delivering highly scalable, resilient, and stable systems on public cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred).
