As an AI & Data Decision Science Manager - Utilities, you will join the Decision Science team to manage end-to-end data science projects that leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and agentic AI to create decision-making systems. The role requires proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn. You will also utilize big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark, alongside cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OpenAI, and Anthropic to solve complex utility problems.

What you'll do

  • Lead the delivery of data science, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics programs.
  • Manage onshore and offshore teams across data science and machine learning domains.
  • Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the sales process by identifying opportunities and developing solutions for AI and machine learning projects.
  • Customize AI models and analytics solutions to solve specific problems within targeted industries or functions.
  • Identify high-value AI use cases, develop business cases, and create transformation roadmaps for clients.
  • Advise organizations on responsible AI governance and train users on new automated processes.
  • Develop internal talent by mentoring and training staff in data science and machine learning technologies.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, or Advanced Analytics.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience building decision-based frameworks and models to drive insights.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience serving utilities clients or in a utilities finance, controllership, or regulatory function.
  • Bachelor's degree required, or an Associate’s Degree with at least 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
  • Ability to travel up to 80% based on client expectations.
