AI & Data Decision Science Consultant

What you'll do

• Develop and customize machine learning and AI models to solve specific business problems within targeted industries.
• Identify high-impact AI use cases by analyzing organizational goals, developing business cases, and determining ROI.
• Create transformation roadmaps and decision-making systems using advanced analytics and agentic AI technologies.
• Bridge the gap between technical requirements and business needs for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Support the sales process by contributing to solutioning for data science and machine learning opportunities.
• Advise clients on responsible AI governance, including training users on new processes and tracking results.
• Communicate complex technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, or Advanced Analytics.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience building decision-based frameworks and models to drive insights.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience serving utilities clients or in a utilities finance, controllership, or regulatory function.
• Bachelor's degree required, or an Associate’s Degree with work experience, or work experience without a degree.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL (preferred).
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn (preferred).
• Experience with AI Native and cloud platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (preferred).
• Knowledge of big data technologies, agent-based modeling, reinforcement learning, or data visualization tools (preferred).
