Senior Manager, Data Architecture/Data Fabric

What you'll do

• Design enterprise data fabric solutions to provide unified access to distributed data across on-prem and multi-cloud environments.
• Integrate data virtualization, active metadata, knowledge graphs, and automated integration into a connected data layer for AI.
• Establish reference architectures, integration patterns, and governance models that scale across the enterprise.
• Enable self-service consumption, data products, and real-time data delivery through the established data fabric.
• Apply modern data paradigms such as data mesh and data product concepts to solve client problems.
• Utilize cloud platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, and BigQuery to build robust data solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to client architects and leaders to shape major data modernization projects.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of experience).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in data architecture or enterprise data engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience architecting data fabric solutions including virtualization, metadata, and knowledge graphs.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, or BigQuery.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with data integration, ETL/ELT, and metadata/lineage tooling.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with API and streaming architectures.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience serving utilities clients or in a utilities finance or regulatory function.
