Sourcing & Procurement Consulting Manager

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end supply chain transformation strategies for utility clients across generation, transmission, distribution, and field services.
• Assess current operating models and performance to identify improvement opportunities using data-driven frameworks.
• Design future-state architectures incorporating AI-driven planning, autonomous agents, digital twins, and predictive analytics.
• Develop business cases and financial models to quantify operational efficiency gains and risk reduction for executive stakeholders.
• Manage the design and implementation of agentic workflows for demand forecasting, procurement, and inventory optimization.
• Oversee multidisciplinary consulting teams through project phases including strategy, solution design, and change management.
• Coordinate large capital projects by managing material requirements, vendor selection, and contract performance monitoring.
• Develop reusable assets and innovative AI tools to address grid modernization and decarbonization challenges.

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 6 years experience in supply chain consulting, operations, or transformation roles including managing cross-functional projects.
• Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in sourcing and procurement.
• Deep understanding of utility operations across generation, transmission, and distribution.
• Consulting experience at a firm or equivalent internal consulting experience at the Manager level or above.
• Bachelor's degree or an associate degree with at least 6 years of work experience.
• Knowledge of AI technologies, automation tools, and advanced analytics such as LLMs and machine learning.
• Experience implementing digital supply chain or ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle, Workday, IBM Maximo, or Coupa.
• Ability to travel between 0% and 100% based on business needs and client requirements.
