What you'll do

  • Design and maintain end-to-end signal flow architectures for live production facilities.
  • Manage video and audio routing infrastructures including SDI, SMPTE ST 2110, JPEG XS, NDI, and SRT technologies.
  • Configure and support broadcast control systems, orchestration platforms, and software-defined networking solutions.
  • Develop monitoring strategies for signal integrity, path redundancy, quality of service, and fault detection.
  • Troubleshoot complex routing, timing, synchronization, and transmission issues affecting live production operations.
  • Lead infrastructure deployments, upgrades, proof-of-concept testing, and technology evaluations.
  • Provide Tier 3 escalation support and act as an Incident Manager during high-profile live events.
  • Create training materials and knowledge base articles to support Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of ten years of experience in live production projects and/or maintenance.
  • Eight to ten years of experience in advanced IT support or systems design supporting live production.
  • Expertise in broadcast and live production systems including traditional, software-defined, and cloud-based environments.
  • Proficiency in video and audio routing infrastructures such as SDI, SMPTE ST 2110, JPEG XS, NDI, and SRT.
  • Experience with virtualized compute/storage infrastructure, broadcast automation, and play-to-air systems.
  • Demonstrated understanding of fiber optic technology and broadcast satellite systems.
  • Ability to lead project management, including system design, cost estimation, and vendor management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
