ADMS Technology Engineer

What you'll do

• Translate business requirements and operational workflows into technical solution designs and implementation plans.
• Perform peer reviews of technical designs, code, and deployment artifacts to ensure cybersecurity compliance and enterprise standards.
• Troubleshoot escalated support issues and conduct root cause analysis to recommend short-term workarounds and long-term corrective actions.
• Monitor system performance and review operational reports to ensure ADMS functionality meets reliability and regulatory standards.
• Support deployment activities for new features, subsystems, upgrades, and patches across development, test, and production environments.
• Perform workstation and server patching for Windows and Linux environments to maintain environment readiness.
• Conduct application interface testing for SCADA, OMS, GIS, and other modules to ensure data accuracy.
• Create and manage operational and analytical reports using tools like Power BI to support decision making.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience supporting or implementing Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS), SCADA, OMS, DMS, or related utility operational technologies.
• Knowledge of utility operations, grid management systems, and real-time operational environments.
• Experience troubleshooting software, hardware, network, and system integration issues.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration, including command-line operations.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware vCenter.
• Experience with system integrations and interfaces including SCADA, GIS, OMS, ICCP, historian systems, or enterprise data platforms.
• Must meet U.S. Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810 export control requirements, which may include being a U.S. citizen or national.
