Operational Technology Engineer

What you'll do

• Configure, install, and maintain OT systems including DMS, SCADA, and OMS platforms.
• Support the development and maintenance of data models for ADMS power system applications.
• Configure advanced applications such as Distribution Power Flow, FLISR, and Volt/VAR Control.
• Integrate GIS data into ADMS by supporting data extraction, translation, and loading processes.
• Provide daily operational support for OT systems used by field teams, engineering, and dispatch.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers.
• Participate in testing, deployment, and validation of system updates and enhancements.
• Support documentation efforts including diagrams of current and future OT architectures.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred ABET-accredited institution).
• 1–3 years of relevant experience (internships or academic projects in power systems or OT are a plus).
• Basic understanding of power systems, SCADA, or industrial control systems.
• Foundational knowledge of hardware, software, and networking concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and learn from senior engineers.
• Work authorization.
