What you'll do

  • Lead the strategy and execution of a technical roadmap to increase product delivery velocity.
  • Develop and execute software development strategies for the IaaS Engineering domain while optimizing performance.
  • Solve complex technical problems by collaborating with product managers, engineering teams, and customers.
  • Mentor and coach engineers to strengthen the technical expertise of the broader community.
  • Influence and educate executives on technical matters and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze costs and forecasts to incorporate them into business plans and resource requirements.
  • Provide on-call and operational support for systems and infrastructure.
  • Establish best practices and improve processes across multiple engineering teams.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education/experience.
  • 6+ years of professional IaaS experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in open-source frameworks.
  • 3+ years of experience with architecture and design.
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
  • Expertise in software engineering, cryptography, PKI, Certificate Management, and Microsoft ADCS.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Go, Python, Java, or Rust.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, CircleCI), and Terraform.
