This role will be central to defining and shaping that offering.

We are looking for a Principal PM to define and deliver a new customer-facing offering that brings EngOps capabilities directly to third-party Azure customers. You will unify and integrate existing Azure operational experiences and build a cohesive, AI-driven solution that scales across the Azure ecosystem. You will work across engineering, data science, marketing, and partner teams to shape the strategy, validate market fit, establish the business model, and drive the product from early pilots to global availability.

  • Lead the product vision and strategy for bringing EngOps capabilities to third-party Azure customers unifying existing operational experiences, defining the end-to-end customer journey, and shaping an AI-driven, integrated solution that delivers clear customer value.
  • Conduct deep customer, market, and competitive analysis to identify unmet needs, validate product-market fit, size opportunities, and produce a compelling business case and ROI model that informs product direction and monetization strategy.
  • Drive cross-disciplinary execution by partnering with engineering, data science, design, and platform teams to define requirements, align on architecture and telemetry, and deliver rapid, high-quality iterations from early pilots to broad-scale release.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Business Planning to define go-to-market and customer acquisition strategies, develop monetization approaches, and support launch readiness through messaging, content, and rollout planning.
  • Engage directly with early customers and partners to gather insight, validate scenarios, refine the offering, and guide ongoing product improvements using data, feedback, KPIs, and rigorous performance evaluation.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Model Enablement:

Inference Stack Development:

  • Collaborate on improving inference pipelines, including KV caching in sglang/vllm and performance tuning at the PyTorch level.

  • Work with Triton kernels for basic operations (e.g., FP8 dequantization) and assist in kernel performance analysis.

Cross-Team Collaboration:

  • Partner with hardware architects and kernel developers for co-design discussions.

The team is responsible for building and operating a set of core components of Monetize real-time platform, specifically the distributed set of servers that runs an auction for every ad impression, delivers the ad content, and performs all the necessary accounting. The Monetize real-time platform is a large-scale distributed platform operating under strict real-time constraints, responding to and executing real-time, dynamic auctions in less than 100 milliseconds. In the past few years, we've grown from processing 300k QPS to over 5 million QPS for an approximate total of 100 billion requests per day. These events generate more than 150 TB of new data every day. Engineers work on the real-time components to optimize our software for performance, space, and algorithmic efficiency. The application that processes all those requests, impression bus, is among the responsibilities of the Auction Logic team. You will provide solutions to help connect advertisers and publishers in the digital marketplace as well as resolve complex technical issues that arise because of the immense scale of our platform.
