As a Wireless Systems Integration Engineer, RF/PHY, you will join the Wireless Connectivity team to manage the integration, bring-up, and tuning of physical layer and RF systems for next-generation wireless SoCs from pre-silicon stages through product launch. You will be responsible for developing and integrating PHY features and calibration algorithms such as TPC, AGC, TSSI, RSSI, and interference mitigation while debugging system performance issues across RF domains and digital PHY processing including OFDM, synchronization, and MIMO. The role requires expertise in signal processing, communication theory, radio architectures, and analog/RF impairments like DCOC and IQ imbalance. You will utilize tools such as Matlab, Python, Shell scripting, and C/C++ to support firmware integration. This position addresses the technical challenge of ensuring high-quality performance for Wi-Fi and multi-radio coexistence environments across various wireless communication protocols.

What you'll do

Drive the bring-up, integration, and performance optimization of Wi-Fi PHY and Radio Systems from pre-silicon to product launch.
Develop and integrate PHY features and calibration algorithms such as TPC, AGC, TSSI, RSSI, and interference mitigation.
Debug and root-cause system performance issues across RF domains including impairments, calibration, and gain control.
Resolve digital PHY processing issues involving OFDM, synchronization, channel estimation, and MIMO.
Manage the transition from lab bring-up to robust firmware integration and product readiness.
Characterize RF/PHY performance to ensure high-quality product delivery.

What we're looking for

Bachelor of Science degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other technical disciplines is preferred.
Hands-on experience in wireless system design, integration, or bring-up for SoC platforms.
Strong fundamentals in signal processing, communication theory, OFDM systems, and radio architectures.
Knowledge of analog/RF impairments, calibration flows, and performance metrics like EVM and sensitivity.
Proficiency with lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters.
Experience with at least one programming language or tool including Matlab, Python, Shell scripting, or C/C++.
Knowledge of wireless communication protocols such as 802.11 series, LTE, WCDMA, or GSM.
