This role requires expertise in wireless system design, signal processing, communication theory, OFDM systems, and proficiency in tools like Matlab or Python, as well as knowledge of wireless protocols such as 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be and LTE/WCDMA/GSM.

What you'll do

Drive the integration and performance optimization of Wi-Fi PHY and Radio Systems for pre-silicon and post-silicon stages.
Develop and integrate calibration algorithms such as TPC, AGC, TSSI, RSSI, and interference mitigation in RF systems.
Debug and resolve system performance issues across RF domains and digital PHY processing to ensure optimal wireless performance.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including MAC and firmware developers to achieve seamless feature integration.
Characterize RF/PHY performance and implement solutions to ensure robust product delivery for Apple devices.
Support the transition from lab bring-up to firmware integration, ensuring readiness for product launch.

What we're looking for

Hands-on experience in wireless system design and integration.
Strong fundamentals in signal processing, communication theory, OFDM systems, radio architectures, and analog/RF impairments.
Experience debugging and optimizing RF and digital PHY processing issues.
Collaborative work with cross-discipline teams to ensure seamless feature integration.
Characterization of RF/PHY performance and resolution of robust product delivery issues.
Proficiency in lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
