Wireless Systems Validation Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and execute comprehensive test methodologies for wireless and PHY system performance.
• Identify test requirements and troubleshoot complex technical issues with design engineers.
• Provide data analysis to drive improvements in silicon development and deployment.
• Maintain validation infrastructure to ensure systems meet performance specifications.
• Automate tests using Python, Shell scripting, or C/C++ for data analysis.
• Perform silicon bring-up and wireless system testing in laboratory environments.
• Conduct regulatory testing for emissions, spectral masks, and power compliance.
• Operate RF test equipment including signal analyzers and spectrum analyzers.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of wireless communication systems, specifically WiFi (cellular technologies experience is a plus).
• Strong programming skills in Python, Shell scripting, and/or C/C++/C# for test automation and data analysis.
• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (preferred).
• Deep understanding of key performance indicators and signal impairments in RF and baseband domains (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up and wireless system testing in laboratory environments (preferred).
• Proven experience developing and automating tests for wireless systems, including test framework design and implementation (preferred).
• Experience with regulatory testing, certification processes, and proficiency with RF test equipment like signal analyzers and generators (preferred).
