Wireless Systems Validation Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and execute comprehensive test methodologies for validating wireless and PHY system performance.
• Identify test requirements and troubleshoot complex technical issues during silicon development and deployment.
• Provide detailed analysis to drive design improvements for RF and baseband performance.
• Maintain validation infrastructure to ensure systems meet performance specifications across all critical parameters.
• Automate tests for wireless systems using Python, Shell scripting, and C/C++/C# for data analysis.
• Perform regulatory testing and certification for emissions, spectral masks, and power compliance.
• Operate RF test equipment including signal analyzers, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
• Conduct silicon bring-up and wireless system testing in laboratory environments.

What we're looking for

• BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of wireless communication systems, with an emphasis on WiFi.
• Experience with cellular technologies is a plus.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Shell scripting, and/or C/C++/C# for test automation and data analysis.
• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (preferred).
• Deep understanding of key performance indicators and signal impairments in RF and baseband domains (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up and wireless system testing in laboratory environments (preferred).
• Experience with regulatory testing, certification processes, and RF test equipment (preferred).
