Wireless Systems Validation Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and execute comprehensive test methodologies for wireless and PHY system performance.
• Identify test requirements and troubleshoot complex technical issues with design engineers.
• Provide data analysis to drive improvements in silicon development and deployment cycles.
• Maintain validation infrastructure to ensure systems meet performance specifications across all critical parameters.
• Automate tests for wireless systems using Python, Shell scripting, or C/C++.
• Perform regulatory testing and certification measurements including emissions and power compliance.
• Operate RF test equipment such as signal analyzers and spectrum analyzers in laboratory environments.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of wireless communication systems, specifically WiFi (cellular technologies experience is a plus).
• Strong programming skills in Python, Shell scripting, and/or C/C++/C# for test automation and data analysis.
• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (preferred).
• Deep understanding of key performance indicators and signal impairments in RF and baseband domains (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up and wireless system testing in laboratory environments (preferred).
• Proven experience developing and automating tests for wireless systems, including test framework design and implementation (preferred).
• Experience with regulatory testing, certification processes, and proficiency with RF test equipment (preferred).
