The Wireless Module Engineer joins the Hardware Technology organization to drive wireless module development from early architecture definition through mass-production ramp. You will manage module integration, ATE hardware and software maturity, and failure analysis while ensuring yield requirements are met. Key responsibilities include overseeing RF design, packaging, product engineering, and reliability testing to translate field-usage profiles into data-driven models. The role requires expertise in RF fundamentals, I2C, and PCIe interfaces, alongside skills in yield analysis, CPK/data analysis, and DFM. You will oversee technical components such as VCO calibration, TX/RX power tests, and EVM tests while managing vendor teams to ensure high-quality production for multiple product lines within the wireless hardware domain.

What you'll do

Lead the development of wireless modules from early architecture definition through mass-production ramp.
Manage ATE hardware and software maturity, including load boards, daughter cards, and firmware calibration at OSAT sites.
Drive the formal module design release process by reviewing schematics, PCB layouts, and RF simulation results.
Oversee OSAT compliance with internal specifications, review procedures, and approval workflows.
Lead failure analysis processes to improve yield rates and optimize test times for production modules.
Define and validate ATE test coverage including VCO calibration, TX/RX power, and RF packet tests.
Translate product field-usage profiles into data-driven reliability test models for modules and components.
Act as the primary technical liaison between internal cross-functional teams and external manufacturing partners.

What we're looking for

Must possess a bachelor's degree.
Must have strong RF fundamentals and a strong RF design background.
Preferred advanced degree in a technical discipline.
Preferred 2 or more years of experience in wireless module development from concept to mass production for consumer electronics.
Experience in packaging, product engineering, ATE, and reliability engineering is highly desirable.
Must possess strong data analysis skills including yield (Cpk) and retest rate analysis.
Ability to travel internationally for up to 2 weeks at a time.
Proven track record of effective written and verbal communication and project leadership.
