The Wireless Module Engineer is a technical lead responsible for driving the development of wireless modules from early architecture definition through mass-production ramp. Key technical requirements include proficiency in RF fundamentals, I2C and PCIe interfaces, and performing tests such as VCO calibration, TX/RX power, and EVM. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate field-usage profiles into data-driven reliability models for various product lines.

What you'll do

Lead the development of wireless modules from early architecture definition through mass production ramp.
Manage ATE hardware and software maturity, including load boards, fixtures, and firmware calibration at OSAT sites.
Act as the primary technical liaison between internal cross-functional teams and external manufacturing partners.
Drive the formal module design release process for schematics, PCB layout, and RF simulation results.
Oversee failure analysis and implement improvements to enhance yield and retest rates during production.
Translate product field-usage profiles into data-driven reliability test models for modules and components.
Define and validate test coverage including VCO calibration, TX/RX power, and RF packet testing.
Communicate technical risks and project milestones to executive leadership while managing vendor schedules.

What we're looking for

Bachelor of Science degree required.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
Strong RF fundamentals and design background.
Wireless module development experience from concept to mass production for consumer electronics.
Experience in packaging, product engineering, ATE, and reliability engineering is highly desirable.
Strong data analysis skills including yield (Cpk) and retest rate analysis.
Proven ability to manage vendor teams and lead cross-time-zone meetings.
Ability to travel internationally for manufacturing and test bring-up.
