What you'll do

Support teams in designing and building aerospace structures using carbon fiber composite material systems.
Perform trade studies and designs to generate technical solutions for approval.
Execute the procurement of hardware necessary to implement engineering solutions.
Test, verify, and demonstrate the effectiveness of developed solutions.
Work directly with engineers to analyze composite structures for aerospace programs.
Collaborate with technicians during the manufacturing process of aerospace components.

What we're looking for

Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Must be returning to school at the end of the internship for at least one quarter or semester.
Must be a U.S. Person due to export-controlled information requirements and potential security clearance eligibility.
Ability to complete an in-person 16-24 week internship in summer 2027.
Previous experience leading projects and working with data collection, analysis, and driving improvements (preferred).
Hands-on experience with R/C or autonomous flight vehicles, flight controllers, or other control systems (preferred).
Experience in manufacturing, PCBA fabrication, SMT processes, hardware manufacturing, or software scripting (preferred).
Familiarity with CAD software, Manufacturing Execution Systems, or ERP/MRP systems (preferred).
