What you'll do

Administer and maintain Veritas NetBackup infrastructure including Master Servers, Media Servers, and Clients.
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot daily backup and restore operations.
Create and manage backup policies, scheduling, retention periods, and lifecycle policies.
Monitor backup job success rates and resolve failed jobs promptly.
Coordinate with infrastructure, storage, database, and application teams to meet backup requirements.
Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and compliance reports.
Perform performance tuning for backup systems and reporting.

What we're looking for

An active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
Must possess a DoD 8750 certification at least IAT level II, such as Security+.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and training is required.
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in a Windows or Linux server environment.
Experience with Veritas NetBackup infrastructure including Master Server, Media Servers, and Clients is preferred.
Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms is required.
Knowledge of DISA STIGs and other commercial best practices for security settings is required.
Familiarity with enterprise application backups such as Oracle, SQL Server, Exchange, or SAP is preferred.
