What you'll do

Maintain and manage multi-user computer systems running Redhat Linux and Windows Server.
Manage server farms and cloud environments including AWS and VMware Vcenter.
Configure administrator accounts, tune system performance, and install system-wide software.
Perform backup recovery and manage mass storage space allocation.
Develop and monitor policies for computing resource usage and standard operating procedures.
Create and track metrics to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Provide technical coaching and review the work of lower-level staff.
Provide on-call, extended hour, and weekend support as required by mission needs.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience and training.
8 years of overall related experience with Unix or Redhat Linux.
Active Top Secret security clearance.
DoD 8750 certification at least IAT level II, such as Security+ce.
Experience with VMware Vcenter and associated products.
Experience in an AWS cloud environment.
Proficiency in shell scripting (e.g., bash) and other languages like Perl.
Experience applying security settings and best practices such as DISA STIGs.
