The Weapons Integration Program Manager 3 joins the Advanced Weapons team to lead the end-to-end delivery of missile integration programs for 4th and advanced 5th generation fighter aircraft. This role involves driving cross-functional teams across systems engineering, software, test and evaluation, logistics, and contracting to ensure compliant fielding of missile solutions. Key responsibilities include managing the full program lifecycle from planning through flight testing, maintaining the integrated master schedule, and overseeing the program budget. The position requires expertise in weapon-to-aircraft interfaces, store-separation criteria, and avionics architectures. You will utilize tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to manage technical risks. The work involves complex missile-to-aircraft integration, including Interface Control Documents, virtual model development, and Hardware-in-the-loop and Software-in-the-Loop testing.
Manage the full program lifecycle for missile integration from initial planning through flight testing and platform certification.
Execute the integration of tactical missiles across multiple aircraft platforms under simultaneous contracts.
Maintain the integrated master schedule, risk/opportunity register, and cost baselines using EVMS.
Serve as the primary liaison between DoD acquisition offices, aircraft OEMs, and subsystem suppliers for test planning.
Lead major programmatic reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR while ensuring timely closure of action items.
Oversee technical execution of missile-to-aircraft interfaces, including physical, electrical, and logical Interface Control Documents.
Direct ground and flight test campaigns, including hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop simulator testing.
Develop new business opportunities through long-range strategic planning, capture planning, and proposal development.
What we're looking for
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Current U.S. Government DoW Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Sensitive Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 8+ years of aerospace/defense program management experience.
Master’s (MS/MBA) with 6+ years of aerospace/defense program management experience.
Proven expertise in weapon-to-aircraft interfaces, store-separation criteria, test-and-evaluation planning, and fighter-aircraft avionics architectures.
Experience leading programs using Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and Risk & Opportunity Management processes.
Experience in tactical missile integration on aircraft (preferred).
Experience with store separation testing, wind tunnel data, or avionics flight software (preferred).
