Waterjet Operator/Cutting Technician, Maritime joins the Maritime Manufacturing Technology team to develop manufacturing processes for defense hardware, including undersea and sea-to-air vehicles. This role involves a multi-disciplinary workflow where you will fabricate high-quality parts, build assemblies for the production floor, and interpret technical drawings and CAD models. You will program, set up, and operate CNC water jets, oxy-acetylene cutters, plasma cutters, and shears while designing work holding methods and performing quality control. Required skills include proficiency with Siemens NX, Fanuc, Omax, and Siemens controls, as well as experience with manual tools, precision measuring instruments, and GD&T.
