Manufacturing Technician

What you'll do

• Assemble, integrate, and test complex electro-mechanical components into Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs).
• Route and service high-reliability cabling and wiring harnesses for subsea systems.
• Design, prototype, and scale manufacturing jigs and fixtures to improve production efficiency.
• Fabricate and modify machined parts and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components.
• Provide feedback to the engineering team regarding vehicle product development and manufacturing cycles.
• Develop, document, and improve internal manufacturing workflows and site organization.
• Perform electrical debugging using tools such as digital multimeters on systems up to 400VDc.
• Travel offshore to support operations teams when required.

What we're looking for

• Must have 3+ years of relevant experience in a mechanical field such as automotive, marine, aerospace, or industrial equipment.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Experience building and maintaining electromechanical systems is required.
• Ability to work from technical documentation and engineering drawings is required.
• Familiarity with fabrication processes, hand tools, and plastic/metal part manufacturing is required.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferred experience in sub-sea robotics or underwater equipment.
• Preferred proficiency in electrical debugging using tools like a digital multimeter.
