The Warfighting Systems Analyst joins the team to bridge the gap between operational requirements and system architecture for unmanned systems in subsurface, surface, land, and air domains. Key responsibilities include utilizing high-end simulations like AFSIM and Lattice Mission Simulation to provide data-driven insights for engineering and product teams. Required skills include proficiency in C++ or Python for modeling, experience with DoD tools such as Brawler or Suppressor, and expertise in operations research or systems engineering. The role focuses on solving complex integration challenges and optimizing technical trade-offs within the maritime and autonomous defense sectors.
Translate warfighting requirements and operational constraints into system-level parameters and analytic frameworks.
Conduct trade studies comparing different system configurations, architectures, payloads, and deployment models.
Utilize high-end models and simulations like AFSIM to conduct technical and architectural studies.
Design and analyze tactical wargames to assess autonomous system capabilities and refine tactics.
Develop physics-based models for red and blue force systems and operational scenarios.

What we're looking for
Must have 8+ years of experience in Operations Research, Systems Analysis (ORSA), systems engineering, mission engineering, test and evaluation, or a related discipline.
Must possess and be able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Experience with tactical experiment and wargaming design, including scenario development, data analytics, and trade-space analysis.
Demonstrated experience in modeling and simulation for military missions, preferably with a background in red force tactics.
Experience with DoD M&S tools such as AFSIM, Brawler, Suppressor, ESAMS, or Command PE.
Proficiency with C++ or Python for physics-based modeling and scripting.
Ability to translate warfighting requirements into system-level parameters and communicate results through strong verbal and written skills.
Experience providing technical direction and mentorship to junior M&S engineers regarding analytic approach and methodology.
