As VP, Security Technology, you will join the security leadership team to lead, scale, and mature the enterprise security program. Reporting to the CISO, you will translate high-level strategy into operational execution across a broad portfolio including security architecture, engineering, identity and access management, cloud security, cyber threat and exposure management, and offensive security. You will be responsible for modernizing vulnerability management, optimizing the security technology stack, and managing budgets, talent development, and investment decisions. The role requires expertise in zero trust principles and AI security while navigating a complex, regulated environment involving integrations and new ventures. Key competencies include executive presence, risk management, and the ability to communicate technical metrics to business leaders. You will manage critical infrastructure for healthcare revenue cycle systems, ensuring security is embedded into all growth initiatives and organizational priorities.
Translate security strategy into operational execution across the enterprise technology and capability portfolio.
Lead security architecture, engineering, identity management, cloud security, and threat exposure programs.
Rebuild and mature employee identity and access management using modern zero trust principles.
Modernize vulnerability management into a continuous threat and exposure management program.
Assess, rationalize, and optimize the security technology stack for better scalability and value.
Provide executive leadership during major security incidents and manage recovery planning.
Manage the security budget, talent development, hiring decisions, and investment priorities.
Present security metrics and risk information to executive leaders in business-focused terms.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
15+ years of progressive security and information technology experience.
10+ years leading large-scale technology teams and enterprise programs.
Demonstrated success leading enterprise security functions across multiple technical domains in a complex, regulated organization.
Deep experience in security architecture, identity and access management, cloud security, vulnerability management, and security transformation.
Proven ability to manage budgets, set investment priorities, and develop senior security leaders.
Executive presence to influence senior technology, business, risk, and compliance leaders.
Industry certification such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC, or equivalent (preferred); experience in financial services, healthcare, or tech-enabled services (preferred).
