VP, Cloud Delivery Architect

What you'll do

• Design reliable, scalable, and secure AWS technical infrastructure solutions for business requirements.
• Perform systems analysis and evaluations on existing application infrastructure to identify technology capabilities.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for AWS security, identity access management, and core services like Lambda and RDS.
• Define and develop new cloud Reference Architectures and contribute to corporate policies and standards.
• Perform capacity workload modeling and availability analysis to recommend performance enhancements.
• Promote and implement opportunities for automation and efficiency gains across cloud platforms.
• Execute multiple projects in parallel while tracking work and status updates consistently in Jira.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture design.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience as an AWS subject matter expert deploying applications.
• 7+ years of experience developing architecture diagrams and documentation.
• 7+ years of experience developing and documenting build specifications using Excel.
• 7+ years of experience designing and developing with AWS services including EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, ELB, RDS, Kafka, SQS, Redis, and API Gateway.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code deployments using Terraform.
• Experience with AWS AMIs, On-Prem Active Directory integration, network protocols, and firewall rule management.
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred); AWS Solutions Architect certification (preferred); Technical Project Management experience (preferred).
