VP, Cloud Solution Architect

What you'll do

• Define target-state cloud data architecture and modernization roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
• Provide architecture thought leadership on data lakehouse, data mesh, and event-driven patterns.
• Evaluate trade-offs for cloud-native services, storage models, security controls, and cost optimization.
• Establish architecture principles, design standards, and reusable migration frameworks for cloud data solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify modernization opportunities and improve enterprise data product usability.
• Translate architecture decisions into clear business value and strategic recommendations for cross-functional teams.
• Mentor architects and engineering teams on cloud-native design, migration patterns, and operational readiness.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 8+ years of IT experience, or 10+ years of hands-on experience in a related role.
• 5+ years of experience designing, modernizing, or migrating data platforms in cloud environments.
• Experience with cloud-native data platforms, data lakes, lakehouse architectures, IAM, security, and analytics ecosystems.
• Experience defining target-state architecture, modernization roadmaps, reference architectures, design patterns, and implementation standards.
• Experience using Agile tools such as JIRA.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
• Ability to travel for business as required.
• Prior experience in credit card, banking, or fintech, and proficiency in AWS or GCP (preferred).
