What you'll do

  • Build, deploy, and support trade software systems and scalable trading engine infrastructure.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify system issues and propose technical solutions for the trade lifecycle.
  • Gather and analyze large datasets from various systems to implement complex mathematical calculations.
  • Use statistical and machine learning tools to identify trading and operational efficiency opportunities.
  • Propose changes to trading systems based on data analysis and simulation results.
  • Develop multi-tier systems using Java, Scala, and Python within a UNIX environment.
  • Manage and process data across various databases including KDB+, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Implement technical solutions for fixed-income securities and reference data sets.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Five years of experience in the position offered or as a Programmer, Associate, Vice President, or related occupation.
  • Experience with full-stack development using open-source technology and multi-tier systems in Java or Scala.
  • Proficiency in scripting within UNIX environments using Python 3, R 3.x, bash, Awk, Sed, and jq.
  • Experience with web application frameworks like Angular or React and source control tools like Git and Bitbucket.
  • Expertise in databases including DB2/PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and KDB+/q.
  • Proficiency in distributed systems, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, and Spring Boot microservices.
  • Knowledge of FIX protocol and data processing in XML and JSON over REST, SOAP, and MQ.
