What you'll do

  • Provide transparency on capital and liquidity consumption to trading desks regarding financial resource costs.
  • Develop tools and frameworks that make capital, liquidity, leverage, and systemic surcharge metrics actionable for business managers.
  • Monitor financial resource trends to identify emerging constraints and proactively communicate them to stakeholders.
  • Manage the limits and indicators framework by coordinating with risk partners and trading desks.
  • Perform "what-if" analyses and marginal trade assessments to support real-time decision making.
  • Partner with technology and data teams to build scalable tools that integrate analysis into desk workflows.
  • Incorporate financial resource costs into deal pricing, incentives, and new business initiatives.
  • Track regulatory developments and the competitive landscape in North America to inform strategic positioning.

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years of experience in treasury, trading, or a markets-adjacent role with significant exposure to capital and liquidity topics.
  • Deep expertise in Basel III capital concepts, systemic surcharge metrics, liquidity coverage requirements, leverage requirements, internal stress frameworks, and clearing house initial margin.
  • Demonstrated experience managing limits and indicators frameworks, including monitoring consumption, rationalizing metrics, and coordinating with risk partners and trading desks.
  • Strong understanding of bank profitability measures and the key drivers of performance for markets businesses.
  • Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets and translate analytical output into clear, actionable business insights.
  • Experience supporting marginal trade decisions, scenario analysis, new business initiatives, and/or deal pricing through a treasury or financial resource perspective.
  • Strong knowledge of pricing and risk management across financing, cash, and derivatives products.
  • Demonstrated people leadership including building, developing, and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Quantitative degree (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and tool development (preferred).
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau (preferred).
  • Familiarity with cloud and modern data platforms such as AWS and Databricks (preferred).
  • Practical experience using AI-enabled tools to improve analysis, automation, or decision support (preferred).
  • Understanding of the North America competitive landscape and peer institution financial resource constraints (preferred).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
